Continuum and packages

Publish, pull and inspect Continuum packages and receipts.

MCP server version 0.2.16-helix3.209. Your agent also receives each tool's description and schema directly from the server, which is always the authority for the version you run.

dry_run_continuum_canary

Validate and compose the deterministic Pacifica/material/vehicle/character canary through the Creator library without backend mutation. Before preparing the descriptor, convert structurally proven actors to native building/level/space/wall/floor/ceiling/door/window/stairs/foliage/light/portal/gameplay-anchor elements; preserve exact mesh objects and material bindings wherever conversion is unproven; and compose one dependency-linked Package graph rather than independent per-actor payloads.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
inputstringyesAbsolute path to the Continuum canary JSON descriptor (min length 1)

get_continuum_publication_receipt

Retrieve the sanitized durable Creator CLI receipt for a completed Continuum publication job.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
jobIdstringyesPublication job SHA-256 returned by a Continuum publish tool

get_package_manifest

Fetch the full manifest for a published system/ability/asset-pack — the contract to read before pinning OR configuring it. For a SYSTEM, the payload carries config (the complete tunable surface) + capabilities. For an ABILITY, ability.json with its configSchema. Always includes the code + asset CDN base URLs. Defaults to the latest version. Read this instead of guessing config keys.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
slugstringyesPackage slug (e.g. fly, humanoid-character)
versionstringnoSemver version; defaults to the latest published version

install_world_packages

Resolve a world's helix.json system/ability pins against the platform catalog, download their code into public/helix_modules/, and wire the hosted three runtime (import map + src/helix.runtime.ts). Run it in the world project after npm install and after every pin edit, before npm run build. Replays the committed helix.lock.json when present; pass update:true to re-resolve ranges to newer versions and rewrite the lock — also REQUIRED after adding a new pin (e.g. visual) to a world that already has a lock. Same code path as the human helix install, but resolution happens in-process against THIS toolchain's environment — no PATH ambiguity.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
directorystringyesAbsolute path to the world project directory (the one containing helix.json or public/helix.json)
updatebooleannoRe-resolve pins against the live catalog and rewrite helix.lock.json (default: replay the existing lock)

publish_continuum_canary

Resume and publish a Creator-validated Continuum canary as one exact-CID Package graph. Structural actors must already be native Scene elements; unproven conversions must retain their exact mesh and material bindings. This MCP tool accepts only private Packages with private/unlisted Vault and Marketplace Listings. It cannot expose or synthesize CLI public-listing confirmation.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
inputstringyesAbsolute path to a publish-ready Continuum canary JSON descriptor (min length 1)

publish_continuum_package

Publish or resume one exact immutable Package Version descriptor, including a frozen Build, through Creator CLI object adoption/ingestion, lease, fencing, seal and optional policy-authorized Listing. No content or publication policy is implemented in MCP.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
inputstringyesAbsolute path to the Package publication JSON descriptor (min length 1)

publish_continuum_scratch_world

Construct a World from semantic primitives through the same importer, Scene compiler, exact-CID Package and resumable WorldRelease pipeline used for source maps. MCP cannot silently authorize a public Listing.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
inputstringyesAbsolute path to the scratch-world publication JSON descriptor (min length 1)

publish_continuum_source_map

Convert an inventoried source map into hierarchical native Scene elements, exact-CID Packages and a WorldRelease through the resumable Creator CLI pipeline. The descriptor may request only an existing owner/editor project publication policy; MCP cannot grant public Vault/Marketplace authority.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
inputstringyesAbsolute path to the source-world publication JSON descriptor (min length 1)

pull_continuum_package

Download an authorized exact Package Version creator source bundle through Creator CLI, verify its CID and safely extract its self-contained files into a new directory. Backend package visibility and allowlists remain authoritative; MCP does not bypass access or execute source hooks.

ArgumentTypeRequiredDescription
packageIdstringyesExact Continuum Package UUID
versionstringyesExact immutable Package Version (min length 1, max length 64)
outputstringyesNew output directory for editable source (min length 1)
